2% Xylocaine DENTAL with Epinephrine 1:100,000 is a local anesthetic product manufactured by Dentsply Sirona Preventive. This product contains lidocaine HCl and epinephrine as the active ingredients and is available in a pack of 50 cartridges, each containing 1.8 mL. This product is ideal for infiltration and mandibular nerve blocks and is characterized by its rapid onset time of 2-4 minutes. The average pulpal duration of this product is 55-65 minutes in infiltration and 80-90 minutes in mandibular nerve blocks, making it a suitable option for dental procedures requiring intermediate pulpal anesthesia. The average soft-tissue duration of 2.5 hours in infiltration and 3-3.25 hours for nerve blocks provides ample time for the completion of dental procedures.

2% Xylocaine DENTAL with Epinephrine 1:50,000 is a similar product also manufactured by Dentsply Sirona Preventive. This product also contains lidocaine HCl and epinephrine, but the concentration of epinephrine is lower, at 1:50,000. The onset time and pulpal and soft-tissue duration of this product are similar to 2% Xylocaine DENTAL with Epinephrine 1:100,000.

3% Polocaine DENTAL without vasoconstrictor is another product manufactured by Dentsply Sirona Preventive. This product contains Mepivacaine HCl and does not contain any vasoconstrictor. It has an onset time of 2-4 minutes and an average pulpal duration of 10-20 minutes in infiltration and 35-45 minutes in inferior alveolar blocks. This product is ideal for dental procedures requiring short-term pulpal anesthesia.

4% Citanest Plain DENTAL without vasoconstrictor is another product manufactured by Dentsply Sirona Preventive. This product contains Prilocaine HCl and does not contain any vasoconstrictor. It has an onset time of 2-3 minutes in inferior alveolar blocks and an average pulpal duration of 10-20 minutes in infiltration and 45-65 minutes in inferior alveolar blocks. This product is ideal for dental procedures requiring short-term pulpal anesthesia.
